This year our school is piloting the Writing Alive program. It is a writing program designed to teach students to select words that really paint a picture for the reader. One portion of the program is a "camera" and this helps students organize different ideas before bringing the ideas together to form sentences or a paragraph. A giant display of a camera along with student work is outside of the ELA classroom. Please stop by and see what the 2nd & 4th graders have been working on.
