This year our school is piloting the Writing Alive program. It is a writing program designed to teach students to select words that really paint a picture for the reader. One portion of the program is a "camera" and this helps students organize different ideas before bringing the ideas together to form sentences or a paragraph. A giant display of a camera along with student work is outside of the ELA classroom. Please stop by and see what the 2nd & 4th graders have been working on.

Welcome to the 2008-2009 School Year
Hello Students, Families and Friends,
A new year has started and we are greeted with a new face in the ELA department. Mrs. Fitzpatrick comes to us from California with experience in both Hawaii and Venezuela. She will be working with the Kinders, 2nd & 4th graders. Ms. Zilli is happy to be returning and is very excited to be working with the 1st, 3rd and 5th graders.
Our classroom has not changed so please stop by at any time for any questions you might have.
